A Million Posts

For those of you who have over a million forum posts, how long did it take you to get that?

Did you acquire other forums and merge posts over in the process?
 
A lot of them I know of merged a couple of forums to reach 1 million post mark. Admin-junkies.com is the latest forum I witnessed reach 1 million posts.

VGR is another forum with an incredible post count. Even though it haven't reached 1 million because it's still at 196.5k, they all posted by users and not merged to the best of my knowledge.
