Have any of you ever had to deal with abusive staff members on your team?

As a member, have you dealt with this on other forums? If so, what did you do about it?

Probably the best thing. Otherwise, stuff gets out of hand and toxic really fast!

I had a staff member on my old Facebook group scam a few members. Obviously I banned them, but I also took some backlash for not doing it sooner. I needed proof before taking action.

A lot of people demand we take action before we can thoroughly investigate something.

I'll always seek evidence before I do something.

I think it's the best approach once you gather the evidence otherwise you'll welcome a toxic community.

I can see where an abusive staff member could absolutely kill a forum though.
