Banned and now staff

Have you ever banned a member only to let them come back and eventually make them staff on your forum?

Or has this happened to you as a formerly banned member but then turned staff later on?

Nope, can't say i've ever done this. If I banned a member, I wouldn't bring them onto my staff team.

It doesn't sound right to ban someone for breaking your forum rules and regulations but only to let them back in and eventually into your staff team. I would never take such a risk.

Don't you think the person might be out for a revenge?

I've heard of this happening.

People have fallouts, and then it gets repaired later on down the road, and they become better friends.

Well, it actually depends on what led to the fallout. If it was just a misunderstanding, something like that can be fix and those parties involved can come back again.

But if it's something like a big betrayal, I don't think it's smart having anything repaired with such a person. I would have gone into big details about my experience with Hulk on FP and down to Bizdustry but that's going to be too much to post here .. I'll leave that for another day.

I haven't put the person back as staff(since I don't have anyone currently) But is someone I appreciate and trust to be a good person, I had to ban him for some simple reasons.(simple/silly entitlement)
I don't know about other situations where there are other serious bans, I don't know, each case is different.

As a staff, you're only entitled to what you worked for in my book. Being a staff doesn't just give you everything if you're not giving the best for my community. The same thing goes for my regular members too.
