All,
I have discovered that I still have the database of Another Admin Forum that I had back in the 2000-teens. I initially gave it to Howard from TAZ where he transferred it to TAZ. However, he doesn't own TAZ and there was never a contract.
I could merge it into this forum.
We'd get around 50,000 extra posts and about 800+ new member accounts.
But would these people be active again? I don't know. I'd likely have to give them the ability to delete their account if they wished. I wouldn't be so reasonable to let them delete content, though, maybe change the username of it.
I want to leave this idea up to you all - the current community.
Should I, do it? Or should I keep AAF 2.0 as it is and work on building the new community as it is?
Vote and please feel free to add to the discussion in a reply.
NOTE: I do not plan to sell or give away the database. I want to make that clear. If we decide to stay as we are now. I'll be deleting it.
