Credit System

All,

I'm considering adding a credit system to this forum.

You'd earn credits by posting new topics, making replies, being active, and joining/referring new members - as well as through contests this forum holds.

You'll be able to use your credits for advertising, content packages, and more.

Is this something you would all be interested in?

If it's the same credit system that in on every forum, not really.
Are you offering tangible stuff for the credits? Maybe gift cards or something?
If you add something different other than the regular, then yes.

It would be stuff like advertising, posting packages, and stuff related to forum admin things.

I definitely don't have a budget for money or gift cards

I voted yes. I believe if forum credits have value, it will benefit the community. For instance, when the members are able to buy ad space, sponsor topic thread, or posting packages from earned credits, they will be more active on the forum.

I use one on my site. But it's for the users to be able to purchase raffle tickets for physical items that I offer in the raffles. There is nothing on the site other than that they can be used for.

Definitely agree and I don't agree with the gift cards etc not everyone is loaded with money.

I would be happy to pay for ad space or something through credits.

Occasional gift cards and paid items could be an option here and there, maybe for very high credits.
