At my parents' house, we still have a functioning CD player, a JVC model that my dad bought many years ago. Despite its age, it still works well. However, it’s been a long time since I've used it, as I now prefer listening to music on Apple Music and Spotify. I plan to give it a try when I come home for the holidays to spend Christmas and New Year with my family. Do you still have a CD player?

No, no more I prefer the cable now. but it was all fun when I was using the CD plate

No more for me.

I use YouTube premium for my music. In fact, I threw away all my CDs or gave them away.

Yes, we all have more advanced technology these days. I don’t have a CD player in my apartment. I prefer to listen to music using streaming platforms like Spotify.

I don't have a CD player. I used to have a cassette player and then directly upgraded to mp3 player.

My 2019 Toyota Corolla car came with a CD player.

I think the new 2025 Toyota Hilux I'm looking at also has a CD player.

I've also ordered CDs that are signed by "small artists". So, there is still a market for CDs.

I didn't think anything new had them anymore!
I should've taken a look at it when I was at the mall last time, as I haven't seen a Hilux display. But, my wife pulled me away. 😔

I get what I want though. Eventually. :-P

It's just odd here that there are no "new car lots" and you have to custom order. So, I wanted to wait until I could get a 2025 off the line as there's a 4-month manufacturing period and about a 3-month waiting period, which when I first looked at them, would've delivered me a December 2024 Hilux.

I have things that can play CD's (gaming systems, I have an external CD drive / burner for my PC) but no dedicated CD player anymore.

My car has a CD player which I thought was an odd choice because its only a couple years old. People don't carry the sleeve of CD's around with them anymore, they just bluetooth their phone.

I dont use CDs anymore since I started using Spotify and other streaming services. I lost my cds and player after I became homeless awhile back.

The real question is, does anyone have an 8-tracks player?

CD's yes, CD player nope, I have the drives but they're not installed in a computer yet. None of us have a case for one.
