Do you think forum owners should utilize AI more?

Artificial Intelligence or AI can do a lot for a forum.

Not just in terms of coming up with post ideas or even writing the content, either.

You can ask it to help you with section descriptions for better SEO, for example.

Do any of you use AI on your forum? If so, how have you utilized it? If not, why not?

No way! That promotes more of a blog than a community.

Also what if the AI hallucinates? There’ve been cases of lawyers embarrassing themselves in a courtroom bringing in fabricated case studies, and polite reports containing false information

That's what I would worry about - false information and looking bad.

It’s a tool, and I don’t see anything wrong with using AI to brainstorm and generate new content ideas. Personally, I use it to help me brainstorm and come up with new ideas, and it has been extremely useful.

I think more forum owners should use it to help them with content brainstorming if they’re not already using it.

I've definitely used it. I think everyone needs to know how to use it and what it can do, regardless of whether or not you agree with it or not.

Let's face it. AI is here to stay.

There were many who refused to get a smartphone and learn it and now they're suffering for that because smartphones are now the norm.

Personally I'm not a fan of AI, and I don't think AI generated content offers any benefit to forums. Content is king, and anything created by AI wouldn't be unique.

I think human made content is always going to be best, for sure, it's personal and human.

AI thought is effectively content scraping. You can sugar coat it and call it machine learning but it's pretty much a search blot that has a chat feature.
