Okay folks,

Let's help each other out here.

Thinking through all the ways that YOU have personally promoted YOUR forum, what has been the easier methods of getting new members on YOUR forum?

What has worked for you? What has not worked for you? Let's help each other out with new ideas! :)

Promotion is the best way to get new members for your community. The question is where would you promote to get active members quickly? I'd go with promotional forums first because that's where you're going to get real forum users. If your forum niche is what they fancy, a lot of them will decide to join and become active.

lol...
Still looking for new ideas?.. I use MicroLikes... Chat-Addicts is a live example of what it can do... :)
You made Micro Likes though right? :D

lol... It's kind of self-promotion. But it just works like a charm for forums...what can I say? : )

These are facts, not a guess:

I think I have an account on MicroLikes but I can't remember. I'll have to track back and find out. If I don't, then I'll create an account immediately 😂

I'm sure it works :)

How does it work exactly? It pays people, right? Actual money? Who puts up the money?

Sure it works.. :)

How it works...
MicroLikes gives credits points (microlikes) to users for posting on MicroLikes Partners forums. But not per post, but per word.

Similar as AdSense pays website owners per view/clicked ads. MicroLikes pays to users per word on their posts.
Then MicroLikes redeem those credits (at a later time/date) Giving some time for Forum Admins to un-approve spam/scam/AI posts.. Etc..

At current moment redeeming microlikes for cash is not on demand. I redeem them as money comes available for the project. As I am the one funding it.
But eventually there will be other products and services where MicroLikes will earn money. That's the source of the money paid to users.

Currently, MicroLikes partners have to pay $100/month to help me cover some cost, but forum owners get way more value than those $100/month.

In simple terms... With $100/month, forum owners have MicroLikes on their side to help keeping forums active.

It's basically what we used to know as PostLoop, but on steroids :) The big difference is that the cost for forum owners is fixed to the monthly subscription. But there is no a hard limit how much the users can post or earn on MicroLikes Partners forums...

The other thing that works just like a charm, is the pay per word system implemented. Conversations can be as natural as it can be. Some replies does not required a full paragraph, thy can just reply with a couple of words and they still get credits for those few words.

Any MicroLikes user can see their progress and credits earned on each MicroLikes Partner forum on this table: MicroLikes

And as we build more tools for forum users and forum admins... there is no way why not to join truly...

The chart 📊 of people's earnings looks impressive. Someone have earned $151 currently on the table.

Btw, I successfully logged into my account because I knew to have created one when you launched this first.

That table is just one way to earn... The tipping system is another way users earn.
There are users who have earned over $1,000k already.
