Ever ran two forums in the same niche?

I have two forums in the same niche.

I have Bike Southern Illinois which is for Southern Illinois-specific cycling discussions. I also just started Cycling Topics which is for cycling topics all over the world.

Some might think it's silly to have two forums like that but I'm fine with it.

Have any of you ever done something like this?
