External Chat and Discord

How do you feel about making chat rooms or discords to accompany your forum?

Do you think it defeats the purpose of having a forum? Does it take away from the forum?

I don’t have a discord for my forum and have no plans to implement one.

I believe it’ll take away all the activity from the forum itself.

I agree with that.

I did add a shout box to my general forum. So far, it's not taking away from it.
