Do females make better staff members on a forum?

Not to be offensive by this question but many females have a maternal instinct. With that being said, in a position of power over a community, they can identify how to nurturer members but also give discipline when needed.

I know gender is a hot topic and there are many opinions but traditionally, do you think women could make better forum staff than men?

I'm generally curious about this myself. As for an answer from me, I simply don't have one because I don't know.

i used to have female staff members in the past and they were great. I wouldn't say that they're better than males though. Both men and woman have they own traits.

Shortie is one of the best female forum owner and user I've come across in years. She have also been a great staff across multiple forums like Forum Promotion, Admin Junkies, Discussionhub and many other. She's an excellent staff and a wonderful human being.

I've had good staff from both genders and bad staff from both genders. I do feel, though, that sometimes female staff members spend more time creating new topics, making replies, and being generally more active than many male staff members. Women just seem more personable on forums, at times.

I completely agree with you on that. I can name so many of them (ladies) whom I've had a good run with on forums and I can only say positive things about their high level of commitments in doing their jobs. Zandrajoi was a big time workaholic on FP when she was around.

The few females that I have seen administer or moderate a forum are very excellent with building community engagement. A female is generally patient and soft-spoken. When they bring that into forum management, you would see how they would stabilize the forum. I really wish to have a female staff in my forum someday.
