First thing you do?

When joining a new forum, after logging in for the first time, what do you typically do after that?

I usually upload an avatar and create a basic profile to establish myself on the forum. I know I always want my new members to do that, so I'm sure other forum owners do, too. So, I try to get that done right off the bat, and then I make an introduction thread.

When I join a new forum, I usually upload an avatar and jump right into the discussions that are currently going on.

There are times where I don’t make an introduction topic though.

I'll make my first topic the intro and then start going through the What's New section.
