Howdy folks,

I have an idea that I'd love to get your opinions and votes on.

Back in the olden days, The Admin Zone had a launch team feature where you could request a forum launch. Multiple people would join your forum and help make new topics and replies. It was quite popular for some time but eventually did die off.

My idea would be similar but different:

1. I'd add a credit system where you'd have to post to get a certain amount of credits to qualify. That keeps it fair on the part of this forum.

2. I would likely start out doing most of the posting jobs which is fine because I can manage my time and post a lot. However, eventually I'd look into getting a posting team on here or forming some sort of "post share" team where we all post on each other's forums collaboratively through gaining credits from posting on AAF.

3. This win for AAF would be posting on AAF to get credits.

4. Once the credit system would be implemented, everyone would start at 0 credits on that day to make it fair and equal.

User's earned credit here for posting on AAF can be used to get AAF members to post on the user's forum through your launch team?

If so, yes, I like the idea. It's like post exchanges through credits earned. But what would be the exchange rate?

One of my post here, How many posts would represent in my forum? 1:1, 1:1/2, 1:1/3, etc...

Yeah. It would be by members who want to participate or maybe a team created for it.

Pretty much like what promotion forums offer but I'd be more focused on a one-package type launch aimed at new forums or forums needing an activity boost.

I don't want AAF to be a promotion forum at the end of the day

Well, there is something similar on Admin Junkie. New forum owners can ask for a forum launch package and get a couple of members and some posts without having to pay anything. For those who already have some posts and active users but want to get boost there are two packages on Admin Junkie that will allow forum owner to get boost in their forum activities for a discounted price.
I voted for team idea and I think this would be a great service to those who want to start a forum.
