Forums that use AI reply chatbots?

The use of AI in forums are getting popular lately. Most times, a forum owner worries about their members using AI generated contents in the forum but now I see some forums encouraging the use of AI chatbots responses. The moment you make a post, a chatbot will reply immediately.

How do you rate this practice in forum management?

I have a bot that replies in it's own forum to all posts. It can also be mentioned to talk to it the rest of the forums. Just a novelty for the users to play with. I am building one to act as a tech support agent when staff is unavailable.

I like the idea of an AI bot as long as it's clearly identified as an AI technology.

Maybe have one in a shoutbox that does trivia questions like the old IRC scripts.

I think it’s okay in moderation, but not when it’s being overused and abused.

Cheating the system and
manipulating the system is a easy way to kill your traffic in the long run. It may work for a bit, but it won’t work forever.

I think it would be interesting to make a forum with AIs talking to each other but keep it private just for the entertainment of it all!
