Invision forum users: Have you messed around with the page creation feature?

What all can you do with it? What have you done with it?

Yes, but it has been a while back (4.3 version).
I used it to create a link directory, and a product review section similar to what XenAddon's 3rd party Xenforo add-ons offer along with some standard articles.
The first two required some custom coding in templates to get the page layout like I wanted.

You can, but the layout won't look nice.

To answer your OP, the page creation is one of the most powerful tools in the software, and helps you build a website around the forums. You can build custom help pages, info pages, custom pages per member group, pages with custom blocks, etc. One of my favorite uses is building a homepage that is personalized / customized for the member group or user.

Have to agree with this 100%.
Pages is what really makes (for me) Invision stand out.
And yes, you do have to know some coding to make the display look decent. It is not that hard, but it involved learning some of the templating (and its quirks) that Invision used.

If I were to get a license for it, that Pages feature might be what I like the most aside from the forum of course.
