What do you think, GT Metrix? It reminds me of the old days when we would try to get a better Alexa rank. Remember those days?

How do you feel about GT Metrix? Do you try to rank well with it and focus on suggestions that it recommends?

Do you think its harder to do with a discussion forum?

GT Metrix can get lost now. Even though it's free, they want you to sign up for an account so that they (most likely) have information that they can sell to solicitors.

Heck, everything requires you to register these days. It's mainly for email marketing I think.

A product that they can sell. I didn't read their TOS to see if by signing up you allow them to do that or not. There are too many other sites out there that you can check your website performance for free without having to sign in.

I've gotten where I use Pingdom more now. But like all of these, if you use CloudFlare, it will usually impact your results as they detect it as a bot and present a confirmation page that impacts your score.

Google PageSpeed Insights is usually also reliable.
There are many others, but they are also now getting to where they are either subscription based or you have to join to get their free tier.

Pingdom - I actually forgot all about that one. That was always a good one.
