Like system for blog posts

How do you feel about a like system for blog posts?

Something like a thumbs up and a thumbs down button. Whatever the reader presses, a small one-field form comes up asking them to explain why they like or dislike the post. The likes/dislike are not public but more for feedback reasons.

Do you think that would benefit bloggers?

Definitely yes, I think it's going to be a very good feature to be included in blogs. If developers can implement upvote/downvote systems in blogs just like we have on Reddit, it's going to be very impressive with blogs.

As long as there is a quick text area form for the up or down vote to explain. Make that a requirement, too. The like system isn't about being a public like system like on here or Reddit but more for a feedback process for your blog.
