What incentives do you give to members who are really active?

Do more forum owners need to jump on board with this? Do you think it would keep active member active?

Most forums I've seen usually reward their members with carrying out a contest once in a while (probably once or twice in a year) which have members win monetary rewards at the end of it. It's a good way to appreciate members loyalty and activity in the forum.

It's good to participate in those contests as long as the forum owner has a clear goal and meets it.

I think a lot of those contests aren't planned well, and while they benefit the winner, they don't often benefit the forum.

Yeah, that's very correct. I think that before running such a contest in a forum, there must be a sustained activity which the owner wants to build on. This is the only way for you to get the best benefit from running such event.

It's also trying to find that fine line where it benefits both the participant winner and the forum.

I think AI can come in handy for brainstorming things like that.

Yeah, that's very correct. If it doesn't benefit all the parties involved, then it's not worth embarking on.

AI is practically good in everything now, it's a matter of how it's applied.
