Would you join an admin forum that charged for membership?

If it included courses, webinars, expert advice, etc. Would you consider joining it?

Yes of course! I would definitely take up such arrangement as long as the benefits I'm going to get is worth what I'm going to be paying for it. Also, the information better not be what I can easily get for free on YouTube.

I've joined paid communities in the past. Some to just support their efforts, others to get something out of it.

It does depend on what you get if the community is a bit more expensive than most. Copyblogger was expensive but I ended up getting a job from it, one that I am no longer a part of as of recently, but it was still great while it lasted.

If I am doing it just to support their efforts, I wouldn't actually be expecting much from them because I know they probably wouldn't have much to offer me but simply because I believe in their projects and that is the reason why I decide to support them.
