Setting posting Goals to encourage posting??

I also added some posting goals to the user's drop-down box.
I added for now 5 posts in a day
and 30 posts in a month.

Do this really encourage users to post to meet those goals?

I always get paranoid that I’m posting too much and sometimes delete posts, depending on the forum. Having a counter like that is a great idea.

I love this idea to be honest.

I think it's good for the community.

I might have to steal the idea but also do some giveaways if we reach our monthly goals. Feel free to steal that idea, too!

I have seen those goals in other forums, there must be an addon for that. I just made mine and put it right into the user's drop-down with a template modification.

If I go a day without posting a lot, it means I'm in the wilderness with no internet or I'm sick. LOL.
