What gives you the most traffic on your blog?

For me, it's been social media, but after I've built a community with it.

Social media is also my major source of traffic. In the past I was using half a dozen social media platforms for blog promotion but these days I am only using Facebook and X. I have created multiple pages on Facebook and multiple accounts on X. I built a moderate size audience on Facebook and X.

I do think we should try to have a secondary big traffic source, though.

If something happens to our social media accounts, we need a plan B.
