Staff members who work with competitors

How do you feel about having staff members who also work with a competitor?

Scenario: You have a moderator who is also a moderator or admin on a forum just like yours that you see as a competitor.

Would you allow this? Why or why not?

The thing I want to ask in this context is, should forums really compete with each other? I don't think it is necessary. That said. I won't keep a staff member on my forum that is a staff member on another forum. Chances are they might not give my forum the best.
