Have you ever found another blog out to have copy and pasted your blog content on their blog as their own content?

If so, what did you do about it? Can we really do much about it? How about if the thief is in another country?

There a lot lazy bloggers out there who would be so willing to steal other people's work and use it as their own. It happens all the time both in forums too. It can't be prevented 100% but at least there's something you can do and the content will be taken down by Google. By issuing a DMCA takedown notice, it's going to be taken down.

Someone stole one of my articles on VPL and @Cpvr did the same thing when he found out and it was taken down.

If you take a snippet of the original at least provide a link back to the source as common curtesy. Never had a post stolen of mine (my content mustn't be that good haha).

I've had mine stolen. I sent a DMCA to the hosting service and they suspended the website. Crazy enough, it was a Russian webhost, too. Usually, they ignore DMCAs by Americans. But they did what was right.
