I've had a very popular forum owner told me about his personal experience with another forum owner where death threats was thrown in their online confrontation in the forum. According to him, such can't be forgiven for any reason whatsoever. He nearly considered making a formal complaint to the cops about it.

This is serious and I won't take someone putting a threat across my way lightly.

Even if I have to hire an international lawyer that can sue them, I will go to that extent because a death threat is not something to play about.

The guy doesn't need to hire any international lawyer I think because he's in USA and the guy was in UK. It's going to be very easy being that they are both abroad. Although, he was willing to make peace if a forum was created and headed by those he can trust to broker peace with the guy.
