Visiting other forums for potential members

Tell the truth...

Do you join and visit other forums for the sole purpose of looking for others who would join your forum?

I'm not saying every forum you join but have you ever done this on any of them and do you still do it?

Is this practice wrong? Why or why not?

There's nothing wrong about this practice. Why are there forum's signature feature? It's to help promote on any forum which allows it.

If finding active forums, joining them and being part of the discussions helps boost your chance of getting new members, it's worth it.
