Coffee.

I've kicked all the habits but coffee.

I don't want to quit, either. I drink it black so I don't add anything to it, but I like it STRONG!

For me, saving money. LOL. To be honest, I didn't have any savings before the pandemic. However, when it started, I realized how essential it is to save. Once I started saving, I found it hard to stop. The amount I manage to save each month isn't substantial, but that's okay.

Surfing the net for me. I can be on my phone all day. it is like drugs to me. can't do without my phone for 24 hours. it's almost impossible

Heck, if that's an addition, surfing the web that is, we're all addicts haha

Obviously the obvious answer is the most addictive drugs, but in general terms on a general average this always depends on each person, for example there are people who find it difficult to give up alcohol and there are others who drink once and then if they want, they never drink again. It all depends on each person and the level of addiction they have to what they consume.

I don't think any addiction can be considered as the hardest. It might be hard for one person, but extremely easy for the next. Every addiction is difficult for whoever is addicted to it.

You're probably right!

Mind over matter is the term, especially if an addiction is overriding someone’s mindset, they can easily break it.

I guess i’m addicted to the internet, but I never thought about it like that.🤣

I'm starting to cut my intake in half now since I keep getting heartburn all the time. It feels like it's helping. Getting old sucks LOL

Over consumption of soda and smoking are my bad habits I wish to break.
I quit smoking about 10 years ago. I vaped up until about 6 years ago.

Haven't had a soda in like 15 years.

With all that hiking, your must be so healthy that you probably feel like 16. :D
Maybe in my 30s lol. After hitting 40, I'm starting to feel it more and more.

I got COVID before we knew what COVID was. It was the bad strain. I didn't require a hospital, but I feel like it hurt my lungs because it's a lot harder for me to do hills than it was before all that mess.

People will talk about heroin, cocaine, tobacco and multipole other drugs.
But honestly, one of the hardest addictions to quite from talking to a few "**** mongering" friends has been sex.
It is so easy to find, not expensive and a quick "get off" that they have had a hard time walking away from it.
Granted, in todays age of STD's you would think it would be a more sublime addiction, but it seems to be even more in the fore because of that. I guess because of the thrill seekers?
Me personally, I've been married to the same beautiful lady for 43 years.. and have no desire(s) to dip my wick elsewhere.

I've known a lot of people who've cheated or got into trouble because of sex being their addiction.

I never got it. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm a guy, and I like it but not enough to betray my wife or hurt someone.

My worst addiction here lately is biting my nails. Nasty habit that I've done since I was a kid. Been trying my best to kick it.

I have an addictive personality to substances such as nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, etc.

However, I have such a fast metabolic rate that I can't get a physiological addiction to anything. Withdrawing from anything lasts a couple of hours, at that, and I can just not touch it afterward as I don't get a psychological addiction to anything either, which kind of contradicts my first statement of having an addictive personality, but it is true that I can just quit anything cold turkey.

Pack or two of cigarettes a day in my 20s? Next day not even a single cigarette or the desire to smoke if I didn't want to. See a pack of cigarettes on the shelf? No thanks. Stressful day? Maybe pick a pack up and either smoke some or all, then just quit.
