What kind of moderation style do you have as a forum admin?

What will you put up with? What will you not put up with?

Are you strict, laid back, or somewhere in between?

I am not overly strict on my forum. I won't issue a warning or a ban without speaking to the erring member at least twice. And I would allow the member to give explanations. If it is something I can help with, I would. A warning or ban only goes to adamant members.
